Welcome!

Since I was a kid I have been writing stories. Narratives about fictional characters in made-ups worlds, within the infinite realm of my fantasies. Now I write about my real life adventures, about the results of my yearning to see as much of the world as I can possibly combine with a career and regularly seeing friends and family. These stories are primarily a recollection of my own memories, as I am keen to preserve as many details of my foreign adventures as possible, lest the images I try to recall years later inevitably become blurred. As a positive externality, the result may be a pleasant read for the interested outsider. I hope you will enjoy my blog.

The Weather

After an unusually warm spring, an unusually warm summer, an unusually dry fall, and an unusually warm and dry beginning of the winter it has to be said that I am very lucky with my first 10 months here. OR the Irish are not rightfully complaining about their climate. It's December and the other day I was taking a lunch time stroll without a wearing jacket. And just now I was playing tennis -although quite challenging not the most demanding exercise- in shorts and a t-shirt. The evening feels warm like a summer night, and the evergreens surrounding the tennis courts only add to the effect. Winter in Dublin, so far so good!
